Detailed description of Zebulon Country Club Golf Course
Zebulon Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Zebulon, North Carolina.
Zebulon Country Club first opened for play in 1958. The course was designed by Maurice Brackett.
The Zebulon Country Club golf course is a somewhat open course, with tree lined fairways and a defined cut of rough bordering all the fairways. The terrain is basically flat, but there are some mounds that can affect your shots. The large greens vary in undulation and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions.
This par-72 course plays to a maximum distance of 5,900 yards.

I play this course once a year for a fundraiser for a senior softball team from North Carolina. This is the third year we have played here. This year, the course condition was the best so far. Despite a harsh winter for this are including a few snow and ice storms, the fairways were in excellent condition and the greens were in good shape too. The staff is always friendly and helpful, with an emphasis on having fun. I always enjoy playing here!

I played this course every couple of weeks when I lived in Youngsville,nc.have since moved to texas and still visit the course when I visit nc.great course.

This a nice little course but a little rough around the edges. It could be cleaned up a little better.

Remembered playing here in 2005 when son Barry lived in Raleigh, NC so decided for a replay. Choose to walk for the senior price of $15 / 18holes as it’s very flat and 2,847/2,867yd / 65.8 / 108 for this Par 36/36 layout. Front 9 has tree lined fairways that were firm and rolled out to some hardpan rough areas. The #3 is a 475yd Par 5 that matches hole #6 478yd Par 5 being, stay between the trees for a easy score. The #8 is a 387yd Par 4 that has only yardage to protect its hcp 2 rating. Greens are firm and on the smaller/flat side, but putt true. Back 9 starts out with “Back to Back” 468/488yd Par 5’s and #11 dogleg will challenge all level of golfers with it’s hcp 1 ranking. The key to scoring on the tighter back is, Stay Straight. Dogleg’s and water add to the tuffness that the front 9 lacked that comes as a nice surprise. The #17 is a dogleg left 340yd, island green par 4 that plays harder than it’s hcp 7 ranking. The #18 dogleg 271yd Par 4 has water in play for first/second shots. So check yardages closely to the corner. Ended up shooting 40/41 w/34 putts as the flat stick wasn’t making the saves. Still a little rough on conditions but fun to play and worth the 2.5 hr stop.
